Kiloran" is a refurbished, end of terrace cottage in upper Tobermory, with magnificent views over Tobermory Bay and the Sound of Mull. The cottage has a garden at the front overlooking Tobermory Bay and a walled garden at the rear.

"Kiloran" is five minutes from the shops, post office, restaurants, launderette and boats on the waterfront. The golf course and tennis courts are approximately ten minutes walk away.

Tobermory is an ideal centre for outdoor pursuits, with bird watching, fishing (sea and fresh water loch), golfing and also exploring the varied scenery of Mull with sea trips to surrounding islands. Perhaps you would rather just sit and admire the view.

The cottage is comfortably furnished, with fitted carpets throughout (except utility room and kitchen). The living room has comfortable seating for six with dining table and chairs at one end. A modern kitchen has been installed, fully equipped with stainless steel sink, modern electric cooker, fridge/freezer and plenty of formica work tops and cupboards. We have an adequate range of cooking utensils and good crockery, cutlery and glassware. An iron and board are also provided.

Heating is provided by storage heaters and timed heaters in the bedrooms.

There are three bedrooms, sleeping six people - two double and one twin, all with duvets and pillows. Electric blankets are available if requested.

There is a bathroom with bath, washbasin and heated towel rail. There is also a separate toilet and a separate shower room with electric shower. Hot water is provide by an immersion heater.

There is a small utility room with washing machine, tumble drier and sink. Clothes may also be dried in the back garden.

A colour television is provided.

Cars may be parked at the rear or side of the cottage.

All cleaning materials are supplied , as are cling film, foil, kitchen roll, and some toilet rolls.


  • A 25% deposit is to be paid when booking. The balance should be paid 4 weeks before the holiday commences.
  • Arrivals Entry to the cottage is after 3.00pm at the commencement of the period booked.
  • Departures The cottage must be vacated by 10.30am on the morning of departure.
  • Bookings Are normally from Saturday to Saturday.

Electricity is included in the weekly rent.

Linen is provided, which includes all bed linen, bath and hand towels, tea & kitchen towels.

All cleaning materials are provided.

Breakages Damage beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the tenant

Children are very welcome but we ask that a suitable waterproof covering be provided for beds. A travel cot and high chair are available.

We regret that pets are not accepted

The weekly rent is from £550
